The tale of one 20 year old's weight loss journey.
Journey restarted 1st September 2012
SW: 310.6lbs CW:310.6lbs GW: 130lbs
Lost:0/180.6lbs
and lacking scales... will update when I can!
Hi my name's Amy and I am 20 years old and I'm looking to lose all this excess weight! I've always been overweight, but at the start of this journey (29th October 2011) I had a BMI of 49. That's in the region of morbidly obese. That's when I said "There's no way I can do this anymore" and set about changing my life for the better. There will be good days, there will be bad days, there will be easy days and there will be hard days. But I will get there, and if you wish to follow this journey with me then I thank you, I really do appreciate it! ♥

Hey everyone, quick update!
Sorry there haven’t been many posts, I’ve been really busy the last few months and just haven’t really been working out or anything so have nothing to report.
I think I mentioned a while back I had problems with my feet, I have for over a year now and it’s gotten so bad the last 4-5 months that it hurts to walk, so most exercise is a no-no. I’m on antibiotics to help and I have an operation on them on the 2nd May so hopefully soon after that I can get back into it! According to the scales, it says I am heavier than I was when I started this journey the first time back in October 2011, yet, I don’t really look it! My jeans are still super baggy and some of my clothes are still falling off of me, so that’s all a bit confusing, but I can’t wait to get back into this all when my feet are all nice and healed! On Friday we got a new puppy called Alfie who is a collie/corgi cross so he is going to be needing lots of exercise! I’m hoping to take him for walks now and then when my feet aren’t too bad, and when I’m healed we’re going to go to obedience training and I’m also going to try and teach him agility, so that’ll help us both stay fit! He’s almost like another means of motivation for me. I want to be able to go for walks and runs with him without hurting and being out of breath and to able to play with him until he’s tired out, not me! So yep. Hopefully there will be some progress to post soon but as of right now there isn’t much I can actually do.
I hope you are all well and making progress, I can’t wait to rejoin you all! See you soon!
Amy x

Sorry for all the rolls, but I have got to face the facts! The fact is…I’m pretty damn large. But you know what? That isn’t stopping me from trying to do yoga!
This is my second time doing the Biggest Loser Weight Loss Yoga. I know it doesn’t look like I’m doing much of anything but man this is so hard for me! Nothing wrong with a little fat girl yoga…
I figure this would be good for progress shots too, as I (hopefully) lose weight.
No apologies are necessary lady; just keep kicking ass and gaining strength!
